Hi readers, I have been keep telling everyone there is no point in learning many software's, you need to be strong at your basic engineering. Moreover being Mechanical engineer you have to be strong at Mechanics,Heat and Mass Transfer,Fluid dynamics etc., Let me ask you one thing. How many of you define What is Engineering Mechanics?
I know if your are fresh graduate you could do something bit some one good at studies can manage to answer not everyone though don't mistake me for criticizing you. It happens to everyone even me. Okay accepting these facts how are we going to correct this only way is to keep refreshing ourselves with fundamentals what we studied in our colleges. First let me explain what is Engineering Mechanics.
Mechanics is the study of forces that act on bodies and the resultant motion that those bodies experience. With roots in physics and mathematics, Engineering Mechanics is the basis of all the mechanical sciences: civil engineering, materials science and engineering, mechanical engineering, aeronautical and aerospace and engineering. Engineering Mechanics provides the "building blocks" of static's, dynamics, strength of materials, and fluid dynamics. Engineering mechanics is the the discipline devoted to the solution of mechanics problems through the integrated application of mathematical, scientific, and engineering principles. Special emphasis is placed on the physical principles underlying modern engineering design.
Well I guess you will be much motivated now, adding fuel to it. let Me share one website where you can learn Engineering Mechanics with interactive session, so real and lovely for all users. It explains step by step with the help of navigation button. Want to try it here it is..
There are more stuff for self assessment of your Engineering Mechanics knowledge.
